Hi, I’m April! I grew up in Seattle, and now I’m thrilled to wake up every morning to the beautiful water and mountain views in DayBreak, UT. Why Utah? My grand kids! After seeing how quickly my three boys grew up, I didn’t want to miss out on more precious moments.

I discovered my passion for photography when my oldest son, Eli, was 3 years old. I started with a point-and-shoot film camera and black-and-white film, dressing Eli in adult clothes and giving him a rose to capture those unique moments. Soon after, I launched my photography business.

Now, with over 25 years of experience and having photographed more than 250 weddings, I continue to cherish the art of capturing raw emotions during special moments. For me, photography is more than just an image—it’s a creative way to freeze time, allowing us to time-travel back to life’s most treasured moments.
